1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Limitless Budget, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the software.
2. Self-Hosted Software
Limitless Budget is self-hosted software. This means:
- You can host the software on your own infrastructure
- If you host your own instance, you are responsible for hosting and maintaining the software
- If you host your own instance, you are responsible for securing your server and data
- If you host your own instance, you are responsible for backups and data protection
- We do not provide hosting services or data storage
Important: If you create an account on someone else's self-hosted instance, your data will be stored on their server, and they will have access to it. You should only use instances you trust and review their terms of service and privacy policy.
3. License
Limitless Budget is provided under an open source license. Please refer to the LICENSE file in the source code repository for specific license terms. Generally, this allows you to:
- Use the software for personal or commercial purposes
- Modify the software to suit your needs
- Distribute the software (subject to license terms)
- Contribute improvements back to the project
4. No Warranty
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT.
We do not guarantee that the software will be error-free, secure, or meet your specific requirements. You use the software at your own risk.
5. Limitation of Liability
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.
This includes, but is not limited to, any financial losses, data loss, or other damages resulting from the use or inability to use the software.
6. Your Responsibilities
As a self-hosted application, you are responsible for:
- Properly securing your server and database
- Implementing regular backups
- Keeping the software updated
- Complying with applicable laws and regulations
- Protecting user data and privacy
- Managing access controls and permissions
7. Data Ownership
If you host your own instance: You own and control all data stored in your instance of Limitless Budget. We do not have access to, collect, or store any of your data. You are solely responsible for the security, backup, and management of your data.
If you use someone else's instance: Your data is stored on their server, and they have access to it. The instance owner is responsible for the security and management of data on their server. You should review their terms of service and privacy policy before creating an account.
8. Modifications to the Software
You may modify the software to suit your needs, subject to the terms of the open source license. However, modified versions may not be eligible for support, updates, or community assistance.
9. Support
Support is provided on a best-effort basis through:
- Documentation and guides
- GitHub issues (for bug reports and feature requests)
- FAQ page for common questions
We do not guarantee response times or resolution of issues. Support is provided on a best-effort basis.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Since you control your instance, you can review changes and decide whether to continue using the software. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Termination
You may stop using the software at any time. Since it's self-hosted, you can simply stop running the application and remove it from your server. There are no cancellation fees or subscription terms.

For questions about these terms, please refer to the project documentation. Since this is a self-hosted application, we do not have access to your instance or data.
